The nipples should sit chest to beak level of your poultry. Place a object underneath to achieve this. Step 2 Drill all the way through the mark with our drill bit. Step 3 Insert cups in to drilled hole. Insure rubber ring is placed outside the bucket to avoid leaks. Rubber ring should NOT be inside the bucket. Step 4 Rotate the wing nut until the cup is firmly in place. Do not over tighten or under tighten. Repeat these steps for the remaining cups. Do the Chicken Cups come with a drill bit for installation? Yes, we include a 3/8" drill bit to make the installation process simpler. What height should I install the cups? Drill as low as 1” above the bucket. The cups should sit around chest to beak level of your poultry. A object can be placed under the bucket to achieve this. If you are placing the bucket on the floor please drill as low as 3”. Can I place a rubber seal inside the bucket? No, please place the rubber seal outside of the bucket to avoid leakages. Are the Chicken Water Cups BPA Free? Yes, they are made from BPA free material, and are food grade. Are these easy to install? Yes, they require simple DIY.
