While we all like a fast clean up I contend that volume and strength are the key measures for a paper towel, not necessarily being the quicker picker-upper. Was that that lumber jack one beat them out on the stronger claim? Perhaps the same happened on capacity, I don't follow the paper towel market close enough to know, but it is odd that it is not the Bigger Stronger Picker Upper.Also Quicker is both subjective and relative, for example it is not quicker than a shop vacuum but in most cases way quicker than licking something up and it is not quicker than a shop vacuum but in most cases way quicker than licking.Well the good news is these Bounty's are relatively strong, absorbent, and ok, quick enough for most needs where it is not too late instantly. They are also a good value in this quantity, but shop here carefully, I noticed very disparate prices depending on the number of rolls, in some cases more rolls ended up cost a lot more per roll than these for the same brand and type.When we ordered our first case of these paper towels, we were more than satisfied. Our most recent order was initially strong, but on half of the rolls, the towels were more flimsy, and the 2 layers easily separated. This seems unusual... how could the quality change within the same box of paper towels? Perhaps the 8 rolls were processed in 2 different batches. We've decided to search for another product which will prove more consistent.These Bounty paper towels are strong and large, but they don't have the increased pliability I am getting used to with other, softer paper towels, or the adjustable size option that allows us to reduce our paper towel waste.I am rating these four stars because they are whole-size sheets instead of select-a-size, and because they aren't soft and pliable, like some competitor paper towels.These are horrible paper towels! They are ridiculously thin and are no different than the cheapest off brand paper towel you can buy, except with the cheap off brand ones, you aren't paying Bounty prices! I was SO disappointed in these! I paid $21 (and that was a discounted price!) and the bigger rolls which are supposed to fit in your regular paper towel holder do fit, but it is such a tight fit that it is very difficult to remove the towels once they are in the holder. That coupled with the fact that they are see-through thin and tear easily, makes it awful to get them off the holder. I've used Bounty paper towels for years and was shocked that they would put their name on such a poor product and I feel totally ripped off after paying that much for 8 rolls that are pretty much worthless. Shame on you, Bounty! And Amazon too for carrying this product!I have loved and purchased Bounty paper towel for 20 years, and how can you beat the price, plus free Prime delivery to my door? Just not carrying 8 "Huge" rolls from my car across my snowy driveway into my kitchen makes the purchase worth it right there. Best delivery method for my favorite toilet paper, I love bounty paper towels period. The huge size rolls are to it put in my cleaning basket for carrying around. With the smaller rolls I was always running out of paper towels and had to return to the pantry at the other end of the house. But not with these huge rolls. They were delivered ahead of time in and in great condition. Will order again. The supermarket for some reason only has limited choices and I hate the select a size it only gives me half sheets most of the time and when cleaning that doesn't work well.Used to be the best! Not anymore, they have changed their product. They are now thinner ( I have used them to years) and while good for basic cleaning, you dont want to use on glass anymore, the lint they leave behind is crazy! I never used to have this problem with this brand and now I cant clean my kitchen table with them anymore. Of course the price keeps going up, while we the consumers keep getting inferior products, all for corporate greed!Great product. Bounty has always been my favorite and most reliable brand of paper towels. Store brands don't compare. I love this item on the subscribe and save. I get a discount and it is delivered promptly to my door every 2 months. I never run out!
