Earth's Natural compostable bamboo cups meet ASTM D6400 Standard. 1-6 months to fully compost at municipal and industrial composting facilities; home composting time may vary from home to home.
FEATURES: Earth's Natural compostable bamboo paper cups are unbleached, plastic-free, and BPA-free. Heat-resistant up to 194° F. *Caution: Not recommend using in microwave oven or oven.

I totally enjoy living the compost life. These cups get a little soggy if a liquid is left in them for a while.Second time buying this bulk pack; I have them next to my espresso machine and tea kettle. They are great for hot/cold coffee and tea, and/or a quick drink of water, juice, milk, etc.. They seem to compost pretty well, don't taste like paper, and don't deteriorate while using them (like some paper straws).
