I bought theee right before all of the prices went up with inflation. I've washed them about eight times so far, and I can't even tell you how much money I've saved on paper towels since they've arrived. I was going through an obscene amount of paper towels cleaning up after twin toddlers, but these are awesome.Everyone said that the absorbency got better after three washes, and I completely agree with that. The first two times, it was good for wiping things down, it wasn't until the third wash that I really noticed a difference.One roll of cotton towels last me about a week. I'm able to reuse towels for simple things like cleaning countertops whereas with paper towels, you wipe it and throw it away.I would highly recommend this product! I would definitely buy more, but we're getting ready to leave the country. I may actually buy some to bring with us.If you're on the fence about this product, I just get it. BUT I want to operate my life more sustainably. Surprizingly, these towels make it easier than expected. They wash nicely, don't wrinkle or curl at the edges, stay on the role, absorb wonderfully, and are oh, so pretty (I purchased the Lemon one.) Rolling them onto the tube is easier than folding, once you get the hang-of-it.To help streamline the laundering process, I bought a handsome hand-woven basket that I keep in the kitchen for used cloth napkins, dish rags, and now these towels. When it's full, it's an easy tote to the laundry room. Voila! Green kitchen in the making.These reusable paper towels work amazingly. The one wish I had was for more choice in fabric color. It would be nice to have more solid options of all the same color within the roll.Save money on buying paper. Reusables are my favoriteI am so happy that I purchased these towels. I am saving money at a time when it is of the utmost importance. I use them just as I would paper towels. I was using the bamboo and these are more absorbent.
