So glad we found these 5oz cups on Amazon! The grocery store is consistently out of them and the Dixie brand is outrageously priced. These are sturdy and can be used several times before tossing.When Dixie stopped making 5oz Dixie cups due to a lack of workers, it was a bummer. My family has used 5 oz Dixies in our kitchen since the 1960s. I grabbed these out of desperation. They aren't wax coated, but they do the job very well. I've even used them to soften and melt butter in the microwave. I would still prefer the old 5.ox dixie cups but these will do until Dixie starts production up again.The packaging had been beaten up really bad but they came in plastic as well and the cups were fine! They fit perfect in the holder and were easy to pull out. The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because they do stick together sometimes, not every cup but noticeable amount (Not more then two normally). As far as the strength I think they are comparable to other brands beside the bottoms that are a little rounded but you are still able to sit them down. It was well worth the buy and will be getting them again.cups are as advertised and fits holder like they are supposed to.These work well for little bathroom cups and for our pool parties to serve shaved ice treats.Holds water and I thought I could deal with the cups being stuck together like others have said, but alas it is really a problem, and way too much work to separate each individual cup.I use the cups to make the kids snow cones and they work great.Two or more cups stick together. It is almost impossible to separate them without ruining one or more of the cups. Therefore, it is not a good value for the money, because you are forced to use 2 or more at a time
